Have a look at the following piece of news:
Schools "should teach how to save a life", says charity
Is "first aid" taught at your schools? Do you think it is advisable? What would/do you teach?

It doesn't teach first aid at my school. I'm not sure if first aid should be teach at schools. Nowadays I'm very confuse about our present curriculum.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, this document is very interesting. i think that everybody should have knowledge of "first aid" because you don´t know when you need them.
ReplyDeleteso, goverment should provide this course. teachers have double the work than we can do it. We teach Language, Math, Science... sometimes, teacher need to teach some topic that families should teach their pupils as good manners.
In the last years, it seems like education need to teach everything: good manners, health, driver education, etc... Teachers are prepared to teach their student but they teach a curriculum.
In my opinion it Would be a good idea children learn life-saving skills at school, but it should be taught by specialist teachers. It would be a mistake to change the curriculum but not to introduce the proper teachers. On the other hand, I agree with Ana García because I think it's true that everybody should have knowledge of "first aid" for the same reason that everybody should have good maners, driver education,...but all of them not have to be learned at school, maybe families should do something about that. shouldn't they?
