4th CAL - The phrase of this week is...

I know its late, but this week was an awkward week, wasn't it? And in any case, better late than never :D Last week we went over a new sentence in class which was: TO MOVE HEAVEN AND HEARTH. It is an easy one as it has its correspondent in Spanish and is exactly the same, so no explanation needed. That's why I'll tell you a new one for this week:

A friend in need is a friend indeed

This time I'm not going to give you the meaning (as I think you can guess it) nor examples, but I would like you to tell me what you think it means and to give me an example of your own. By the way, we are waiting for the end of your story Javier... Thanks for participating to all of you and have a nice day!

  4. To be honest I don't know which the end of story is. I was developing at the same time you were publishing idioms or the phrase of the week trying to fit them in my story.
And at this moment, when my wallet is lost (yes, it’s the gospel truth), I feel like if I was waiting for a smart man knocking my door.
Anyway, I have no objection keep on playing this little game when you post a new expression.
