This is the expression of this week:
Like it or lump it
Meaning: Said of an unpleasant outcome that one has no choice but to accept - one can either endure it willingly or endure it with suffering.
Example: I'm going home and if you don't agree you can like it or lump it.
Can you think of a similar expression in Spanish? Can you think of another example? Have a nice week!

Hello:
ReplyDeleteI think that you can use this idiom when you are angry with your friend.
Usually, he thinks: "You have two works".
Maybe, the meaning of this expression is the same that "Like ir or lump it".
Thanks for your expression.
I disagree with you, Ana. In my opinion "Like it or lump" its similar to our Spanish expression "Lentils, you can eat them or not, that's all we have for luch".
